Mridul Singh
(Founder and Secretary of EK KOSHISH SPECIAL SCHOOL )
Mridul Singh, a graduate from Delhi University, has been a dedicated advocate for social causes from an early age. During her college years, she was recognized for her exceptional contributions to society, winning numerous awards for her efforts in community service. Her passion for social impact led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Sociology, further deepening her commitment to serving marginalized groups.
After raising two daughters, Mridul Singh reignited her academic journey and attained a position as an Assistant professor in special education. It was during this time, while interacting with parents of children with special needs, that she recognized the significant lack of support and guidance available for these families. In response, she founded EkKoshish Special School in 2005, a school dedicated to providing specialized education and therapy for children with disabilities.
Currently, Mridul Singh leads the school, a computer training center, and a remedial education program for underprivileged children, ensuring that every child receives the care and guidance they deserve. Her impactful work has earned her numerous awards and recognition from various organizations, honoring her relentless dedication to the welfare of children with special needs and her contributions to society.
Her vision and leadership continue to inspire positive change in the community.
